(Good morning all!)
Hi everyone! How are you? I hope you're good. I know it's really hard out there at the moment, but just keep praying and hustling and we'll all be all right in the end. Trust me.
OK, I was approached by a wonderful artist called Shamz LeRoc (click here for her blog) in Uni Qlo one day when I was looking really busted and feeling really fat and she asked if I'd style her video. Ohhhh, wonderful. I'm not a stylist, but I'll give it a go. It was a lot of hard work because we had NOOOOOO moneys. But hey, that shit's really a motivator. Here are some behind the scenes pix:
Here comes the customising part. LOL, you know it has to be in there. How To Make Booty Shorts in 2 minutes.
We bought jeans to make into them booty shorts that everyone's wearing now it's "summer." I say "summer" cos in Britain, our summer has PMT and is very sometime-ish, but yeah.
We bought the jeans for £10. Then we hacked them to shreds. LOL.
Cut the legs off. You need to leave enough to give you a healthy cuff on the shorts when you fold up the legs.
Use your scissors to cut 2 inch long incisions (is that how you spell it?), this makes it easier to fold.
Then you're free to roll. To a length that's comfortable for you. That's what is all about. Comfortability. (Is that a word?)
This is how they looked on Shamz! You can take them higher, but I like this length.
Her booty looked amazing.
This is my last styling job though. Styling is hard. I prefer to make the clothes!
Love and forward movements, everyone.
